Free and Pro

Keep awake, listening ports, clear clipboard, display off, DNS flush and Revert all are always free. Awake with lid closed and Mac settings (Finder, Dock, screenshots, keyboard, .DS_Store) are Pro: free to try for 14 days from first use, then they need a license. The app never charges you or asks for card details. Even after the trial, you can always revert the settings you changed.

What a license covers

A USD $4.99 one-time purchase lets one person use the purchased major version (version 1) and its maintenance updates on up to 3 Macs. Later paid major upgrades are optional, and the version you bought keeps working on compatible hardware and macOS. Licenses may not be shared publicly or resold.

Activation

Activating a Mac, or moving to another one (deactivate first), needs an internet connection. The app rechecks the license about once a week; a purchased license keeps working offline and during service outages. A license confirmed as refunded or cancelled may stop unlocking Pro features.

Refunds

Full refund within 14 days of purchase: reply to your receipt email or write to the address above. A refund ends that license. This does not limit your statutory consumer rights.

What Lidless is

Lidless is a collection of tools that make macOS power and settings features easier to use. It relies on macOS behavior that Apple can change, so future macOS updates may affect some features. You remain responsible for heat and battery when using a Mac with the lid closed; Lidless’s automatic shut-off is an aid, not a guarantee.

Payment processing

Lemon Squeezy processes payments as merchant of record; the final price and taxes appear at checkout, and Lemon Squeezy sends the receipt and license key. This site never receives payment details.
